Cindy Hoose French - 6 Dec 2006: S/Sgt. Donald L. Hoose entered combat on 2/5/1944 under 1st Lt. Paul Skinner of the Karen B II. He flew a total of 35 mission and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service. Dad told me that Lt. Skinner was a "darn good pilot so we usually got to fly first position." |
